How to Get Involved at FRIENDSHIP COMMUNITY:

**Regardless of your situation, there is a place for you here. Whether you are rich or broke, busy or bored, a worker or a thinker, a sinner or a saint, you have something to offer and something to gain!

1. Help us establish and maintain our garden. We have been trying somewhat unsuccessfully to grow and maintain a garden of raised beds behind the house. We think that this will be a great way to have fun, to involve the community, and to help lower our food costs. But if we are going to make it happen, we will need more hands and more time.

2. Write for the Blog. Do you have a testimony of Radical Christianity? A poem or short story? Do you have something to add to our ongoing discussion of homelessness, poverty, practical religion, Biblical relationships, or simple living? Please contact me, and we can talk further about involving you.

3. Start a blanket drive on Facebook or in your neck of the woods. We are in constant need of basic supplies. When generous people get together (usually around Christmastime) and collect things from our everyday needs list, it really take the financial burden off of us and we can do more good for more people.

4. Offer professional legal or financial assistance as we organize officially. We are in need of pro bono legal services as we organize.

5. Promote Friendship Community House on Facebook or other social media. Most of the people that we have met and gained insight from have been folks we met on various social media. When you share our URL, many people will be introduced to FCH who either need help or can offer help. 

6. Be a Friend! The BEST way to volunteer is just to be a friend. Come and hang out with us. Make a new friend. Have an impact on the life of someone else. We believe that Christian Friendship is one of the most powerful tools for helping people in our community.
